Vinicius Jr Extends Apology to The Madrid Club Devotees
The forward has netted 5 goals in ten Spanish league matches during the current campaign.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to the fanbase for his conduct when replaced in Sunday's heated Clasico clash triumph.
The Brazilian was substituted in the 72nd minute and showed his frustration by walking immediately off the pitch.
The Brazilian later returned to the sidelines and, following his side's 2-1 win, attempted to approach Barça's youngster Yamal during contentious after the game scenes.
"This day I want to say sorry to all the Real Madrid fans for my behavior when I was replaced in the derby," Vinicius shared on his account.
"In the same way as I have said in person during the latest practice, I also want to apologise again to my team-mates, the organization, and the club president.
"Occasionally emotion takes over me because I constantly desire to win and support my side. My determined nature comes from the love I have for this institution and everything it stands for."
Vinicius signed for Madrid from his former club in 2018 for millions and has scored triple figures in more than 300 games.
But his future in the La Liga is unclear with speculation in lately stating that Los Blancos would think about permitting the 25-year-old leave if they got a good proposal.
When he was replaced on the match day, cameras from network the platform picked him up saying: "Again me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I leave, I'm leaving."
In his most recent post on social media, Vinicius commented: "I commit to keep fighting constantly for the welfare of the club, as I have acted since the initial arrival."
